From the early 80s on, we have been applying UNIX as server system software and INFORMIX (formerly RDS) as a relational data base. The ABLY Business Suite is based on JDBC (V3.0 Industrial Standard Type 4), system software with a data base and it is characteristically hardware-neutral. We prefer, however, the IBM INFORMIX data base.
IBM products are implemented as development tools. With these tools, the requirements of a modern, web-based architecture are perfectly fulfilled. The IBM Web Sphere technology with portal functions, eCommerce system, document management and business process management can be smoothly integrated.
The core domain of the ABLY Business Suite is formed by the continuously developed ABLY technologies. A choice of a great deal more than 1000 different modules is available for this purpose.
